Monday already! And we haven’t found a place yet.
We must find a place to live as soon as possible. We have an 11:00AM appointment today to view an apartment. We are calling some other places to arrange something with them. Prospects are looking better, some include 6/173 Macquarie St (St. Lucia), 6/53 Alpha St (Taringa), 6/5 Norwood St (Toowong).
Yvonne’s Aunt and Uncle took us out for steak yesterday. You don’t have to tip anybody here. It’s fantastic! What-you-see-is-what-you-pay WYSIWYP. If your steak is $29.90 you pay $29.90. It is so fantastic
However …
Waiters tend to forget about you, or don’t top-up your water, or don’t check up to see “how things are going” so I tend to miss that, but that should be included, not an “extra” fee, wouldn’t you agree? Who do you tip and why?

Good to hear you guys arrived safely in Oz! Someone told me it’s like America circa 1980′s over there, is that true?
I don’t know — I wasn’t very conscious in the ’80s =). What I know is that the internet is sorta slow, and they have a monthly bandwidth cap of around 5-20GB. They are still implementing some tenant, health, traffic laws here that we’ve had in Canada for years, maybe decades.
What is meant by”bandwith cap of around 5-20gb?” I know GB stands for bygabytes???
Have you visited any computer stores yet?
bandwidth cap of 5GB (5 Gigabytes) means that you can download no more than 5GB per month. If you exceed that limit they will either reduce your internet speed, or they will charge you for every extra MB (megabyte) that exceeds 5GB. I saw an advertisement that showed 50GB for $49.90/mth but that is still too expensive for us. We can just go to the library or Uni for free =)
